StarTap registration problems

I am a registered user of StarTap. When my PDA crashed a few months ago, I didn't reinstall StarTap. I reinstalled it a few days ago, but it wouldn't take my PIN or key. I upgraded to StarTap+, thinking I could use the StarTap+ PIN to register. No luck, I got the message that I had to register StarTap first. Please help. I emailed customer service at ThumbsUp, but got no reply.
