Screen Capture
- It's worth a thousand words! In the Control Panel / StarTap / Images dialog, there's a Check box for Capture. Put a check next to it and exit the dialog. StarTap will ask to be restarted. When it comes back up, use the Taskbar Icon to bring up the little Task Box. There's a new button in it! Just get the display on the screen that you want to take a picture of, pop up the Task Box, then tap on the Eye icon (Eyecon?). StarTap will save an image of the screen in the root directory. Copy it to your desktop computer, and you've got a permanent image of the screen.
- Capture can also be invoked by a single or double tap on the Taskbar icon itself. See the section on
Options! Options!
- There are some elements on the screen that are darned near impossible to get a picture of. The Start Menu is one. For these toughies, there's another mode, called Delayed Capture. This mode waits 4 seconds after it's been activated before taking the picture, to give you time to format the screen the way you want. Enabling this function is also described in Options!
